Volcafe Kyagalanyi Coffee Ltd
Kyagalanyi Coffee Ltd uses the FarmerLink app to enable traceability from farmer plot to their hulling stations. It is important to the company to have insight in deforestation data on plot level and we support their journey to EUDR compliance through our data solutions. We also offer practical support in the field to integrate the app in daily use. This reduces the paper burden, because we use QR-codes that can be scanned with mobile phones and printed.
Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) Uganda
For the Ugandan Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries we will enable the national roll-out their end-to-end coffee traceability system in the central, western, and Rwenzori regions in Uganda. Our traceability application will support the process of EUDR compliance, providing insight in real time data on deforestation. ExoLink will provide first mile traceability for 5,000 VCAs.
The Uganda National Apiculture Development Organisation (TUNADO)
Beekeeping is a great way to improve biodiversity, and it provides an important source of income. For TUNADO we support beekeepers through the FarmerLink app, so the Rural Transformation Centre (RTC) can keep track of their produce and sales, which enables capacity building in both technical beekeeping and entrepreneurship.
